Facilities Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Specialist with the Alaska State Government, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Anchorage Jail facility. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair the infrastructure of the facility, including plumbing and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair facility plumbing systems, including installation and repair of pipes and fixtures.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on facility infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of the facility.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
