Customer Service Representative Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at ShopHQ. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline for providing our customers with a personalized experience, taking inbound calls and responding to customer requests, and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with the customer service team to achieve key departmental metrics and goals
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, policies, and procedures to effectively assist customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including average handle time and customer satisfaction ratings

Requirements:

  • Minimum six months sales, customer service, or related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong telephone etiquette, and ability to communicate effectively
  • Keyboard and basic computer skills, including using Windows-based programs and navigating the internet
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively
