Join Food Lion, a leading grocery retailer in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states, as a Customer Service Team Lead. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for managing the Front End operations, including service centers, self-checkout lanes, and Food Lion To-Go.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills. A high school graduate or equivalent is preferred, and prior experience in retail operations or management is a plus.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Front End operations, including service centers, self-checkout lanes, and Food Lion To-Go
  • Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs
  • Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates
  • Provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote a culture reflective of our Brand, Strategy, and Culture

Requirements:

  • A high school graduate or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Prior experience in retail operations or management is a plus
