Job Summary:

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Project Workstream Lead to support a National Security client with execution of IT project management initiatives, projects, and objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate as part of the program management office (PMO) team to manage and enhance business processes, facilitate meetings, develop client communications and reports, develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects, identify and report on risks and issues, apply agile framework concepts, and deliver solutions to complex program management challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the PMO team to manage and enhance business processes

  • Develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Identify and report on risks and issues
  • Apply agile framework concepts
  • Deliver solutions to complex program management challenges

Requirements:

  • Active and maintained Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three or more years of experience supporting PMO-related projects or initiatives
  • Ability to work on client site in Washington D.C. a minimum of three days a week

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificates preferred: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Knowledge preferred: Change Management, IT Program Management, Business Strategy and Transformation
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a variety of project environments
  • Experience working with and briefing senior level government stakeholders
  • Ability to gather or create requirements and metrics to address client questions and needs
  • Ability to effectively deliver written and verbal presentations in an informative and succinct manner, addressing questions and feedback professionally
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and drive issues to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
