About the Role

The Survey Project Manager is a key position at SAM, responsible for overseeing the execution of land survey projects from start to finish. This role requires strong project management skills, with a focus on ensuring that services meet company quality standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Manage land survey projects, including planning, execution, and delivery of results.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of geomatics professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development opportunities, including proposal writing, budgeting, and client relationship management.
  • Financial Management: Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a professional or management capacity, with a focus on project management and team leadership.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in project management tools, such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, and Geopack. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly define assignments and deliverables to team members.
