Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily banking transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation of company bank accounts.
- Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals, amortization of intangible assets, and revenue recognition entries during the month-end closing process.
- Support the management of the company's credit card programs, collaborating with managers and staff to ensure proper coding.
- Execute SOX-compliant tasks, maintaining internal controls as mandated by the PCAOB and SEC.
- Assist in the preparation of various accounting reports utilized by management on a monthly basis.
- Explore opportunities for growth within the accounting department.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Strong commitment to confidentiality
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in accounting software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with web-based banking platforms
- Eagerness to learn new accounting software
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Corporate or Public Accounting
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
