Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily banking transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation of company bank accounts.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals, amortization of intangible assets, and revenue recognition entries during the month-end closing process.
  • Support the management of the company's credit card programs, collaborating with managers and staff to ensure proper coding.
  • Execute SOX-compliant tasks, maintaining internal controls as mandated by the PCAOB and SEC.
  • Assist in the preparation of various accounting reports utilized by management on a monthly basis.
  • Explore opportunities for growth within the accounting department.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience with web-based banking platforms
  • Eagerness to learn new accounting software

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Corporate or Public Accounting
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
