ACCOUNTANT POSITION

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bookkeeping tasks utilizing QuickBooks Online for several clients simultaneously.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of all accounts and as required.
  • Engage directly with clients through phone, email, and video conferencing tools.
  • Understand and apply accounting standards, policies, and regulations to all assignments.
  • Generate financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of financial data.
  • Assist controller and CFO clients with job costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.
  • Support clients in setting up payroll and utilizing payroll software effectively.
  • Guide clients through the onboarding process, including any necessary cleanup and catch-up accounting tasks.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues as they arise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A minimum of one year of experience managing multiple clients is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with learning new online software and utilizing technology, including video conferencing, email, spreadsheets, and applications.
  • QuickBooks Certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with clients in the green industry or other service-based sectors is a plus.
