Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Elevator Component Technical Support Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing spare parts stock, processing sales and warranty orders, and providing technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to identify and order spare parts, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
  • Process sales and warranty orders, documenting customer complaints and creating recommended spare parts quotes for new and existing equipment.
  • Establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Interact with various departments to process orders and warranties on time, meeting customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Conduct proactive calls to customers to check on their equipment needs, providing recommendations for spare parts, replacement, or training as necessary.
  • Manage our online parts web store, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information and efficient ordering processes.
  • Read engineering drawings to help customers identify parts needed, providing expert technical support and guidance.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns via phone and email, representing the company in a positive and professional manner.
  • Issue return authorizations and process returns, determining credit or repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a secure and adequate monthly safety stock in our facility, ensuring timely delivery of spare parts to customers.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including weekly schedules and orders follow-up reports, to the Aftersales Manager.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager, contributing to the success and growth of Wittur USA, Inc.

Requirements

  • 4-year technical degree or equivalent education and work experience.
  • 2+ years of industrial engineering, mechanical, electrical, or similar experience.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to write reports, proposals, and business correspondence, as well as present information to management and customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and regulations, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
