Position Overview:
We are seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead our teams in the EHS sector. This role will be pivotal in managing the Environmental, Health, and Safety functions across various operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee EHS functions for all operations.
- Lead and mentor two EHS teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate effective risk management.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Analyze and advise on the implications of new regulations and legislation.
- Guide teams through audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Develop corrective action plans for audit and inspection findings.
- Review and enhance safety procedures and work instructions.
- Integrate employee activities across multiple EHS disciplines.
- Plan and implement EHS programs and processes.
- Manage project resources and lead process improvements.
- Foster partnerships with customers and collaborators.
- Provide oversight for technical approaches and processes.
- Develop and motivate team members.
Work Environment:
This position requires 100% onsite presence. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EHS leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as an Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional.
Additional Information:
This role is part of a Drug-Free Workplace and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing. The position is not contingent upon program award and is a full-time opportunity.
