Job Summary
As a Science Enrichment Facilitator, you will guide students through inquiry-based learning methods that incorporate instructor-led demonstrations, engaging hands-on activities, and exciting take-home projects that illustrate the impact of science in everyday life. Mad Science is recognized as the leading provider of enjoyable science programs for elementary-aged children.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 1-hour after-school science enrichment sessions using a straightforward, pre-established curriculum.
  • Each session is designed to be high-energy, blending entertainment with education through interactive classes that meet weekly for a duration of 6 or 8 weeks.
Schedule and Compensation
  • Programs will be scheduled in your local area, typically two or more afternoons each week.
  • Compensation for mileage will be provided for any program exceeding a 25-mile round trip.
  • Earn $40 for each 1.5-hour program conducted.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children is essential.
  • A dependable vehicle is required.
  • A fun and engaging personality is a must.
  • Comfort with completing a background check is necessary.
  • Availability for two or more afternoons per week between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM is expected.
Compensation: $40.00 per hour
