Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our team at FoodEmployment. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sweetener sales at small, medium, and large food manufacturers in the assigned sales territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision makers, across key functions, within the target accounts.
  • Successfully prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain new accounts and relationships at those accounts.
  • Create action-based customer plans to develop business relationships and results within area of responsibility.
  • Develop a thoughtful understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or technical field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in selling value-add ingredients (specifically sweeteners) to small-large food companies or 5+ years in an applications/development position with customer interaction and project management.
  • High level of proficiency with sales planning, both short-term and strategic planning.
