This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of culinary arts, menu planning, and food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Lead the development of new culinary concepts, dishes, and techniques by researching ingredients, experimenting with flavors, and staying up-to-date on market trends.
  • Galley Design and Construction: Collaborate with the new build team to design and implement galley systems that meet safety and quality standards, while ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
  • Menu Development: Create and refine menus that align with our brand's concept and target audience, while considering trends, feedback, and market analysis.
  • Recipe Formation and Quality Control: Develop innovative and distinctive recipe ideas that meet quality and cost standards, while ensuring consistency and efficient execution in the galley.
  • Product Optimization: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize production strategies and processes to increase efficiency and product excellence.
  • Food Safety: Ensure that food safety standards are consistently met and exceeded, by implementing regulatory food safety principles and developing protocols for responding to food safety incidents and emergencies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
  • Experience: 15+ years of solid background in culinary arts, food production, and kitchen management
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of culinary arts, food safety regulations, and menu planning, with excellent communication and leadership skills
