Position Summary:
The Senior HR Consultant role functions as a strategic advisor and facilitator in the implementation of human resources policies and practices for designated units. Key responsibilities include interpreting HR guidelines, providing counsel on HR-related matters, analyzing HR actions, and acting as a bridge between various departments concerning HR topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply human resources policies while advising management on their implementation
  • Consult with departments on various HR matters
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on HR actions and challenges
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations on formal employee matters
  • Serve as a primary liaison between departments on HR-related issues
  • Assist in recruitment efforts to enhance onboarding processes

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Five to seven years of experience in human resources
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or Organizational Psychology
  • 3 to 5 years of consulting experience in higher education
  • Experience in a dynamic business environment
  • Prior experience as a Senior HR Consultant
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
