Role Overview:
Teddy Morse's Daytona Harley-Davidson, a proud member of the Ed Morse Automotive Group, is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to enhance our guest experience at the Clarion Inn at Destination Daytona.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise front desk operations, ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction for all visitors.
- Manage guest check-in processes, room assignments, and special requests, focusing on creating memorable experiences.
- Oversee pre-registration and room blocking for incoming guests to maximize room efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to proper credit and cash-handling protocols, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the primary Manager on Duty (MOD), addressing guest concerns and emergencies with professionalism and speed.
- Maintain accurate room status updates and coordinate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely room readiness.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the reservations system, managing both current and future bookings, cancellations, and check-out procedures.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of room types, locations, and pricing, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance occupancy and promote hotel amenities.
- Document and communicate essential information between shifts to ensure seamless operations.
- Accurately post charges to guest accounts and manage safe deposit box protocols.
- Answer phone inquiries promptly and courteously, directing calls as necessary.
- Report any unusual incidents or requests directly, serving as the main MOD.
- Adhere to all safety and emergency protocols, including accident prevention measures.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, setting a standard for the team.
- Adapt to shift changes based on operational needs, ensuring continuous service coverage.
- Participate in departmental meetings and encourage collaboration across hotel divisions.
- Engage positively with all employees and guests, fostering a welcoming environment.
- Take on or delegate additional responsibilities as needed to support front desk functions.
- Uphold the standards of excellence that reflect the unique character and quality of our establishment.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management abilities.
- Proficient in guest relations.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Familiarity with front office equipment.
- Competent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
