Role Overview:
Teddy Morse's Daytona Harley-Davidson, a proud member of the Ed Morse Automotive Group, is seeking a Reception Operations Supervisor to lead our front desk team at the Clarion Inn at Destination Daytona.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise front desk activities, ensuring top-notch customer service and satisfaction for all guests.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, addressing special requests to enhance guest experiences.
- Coordinate room assignments and pre-registration to maximize room availability.
- Ensure adherence to credit and cash-handling policies, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the primary Manager on Duty (MOD), efficiently resolving guest-related concerns and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate room status updates and communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely room readiness.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the reservations system, managing bookings, cancellations, and check-out procedures.
- Utilize knowledge of room types and rates to implement effective selling techniques, promoting hotel services.
- Document and communicate important information between shifts to maintain operational continuity.
- Accurately post charges to guest accounts and manage safe deposit box protocols.
- Answer phone inquiries promptly and courteously, directing calls as necessary.
- Report any unusual incidents or requests to the MOD.
- Adhere to safety and emergency protocols, including accident prevention measures.
- Keep the front desk area organized and presentable, setting a standard for the team.
- Adapt to shift changes as required by business needs, ensuring service coverage.
- Participate in departmental meetings to promote collaboration across hotel functions.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere through positive interactions with guests and staff.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support front desk operations.
