Your Role:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take a pivotal role within our Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Energy/Generation & Energy Management Team. This position requires a seasoned professional with a wealth of engineering expertise to lead the technical execution of projects, ensuring that we meet our clients' needs while adhering to the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project phases, collaborating with various engineering disciplines and project management teams.
- Provide expert consultation on design development, implementation, and technical analysis of energy systems.
- Identify and rectify technical discrepancies, recommending modifications to enhance project outcomes.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and advanced engineering software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and relevant business practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Active involvement in a professional engineering organization is preferred.
