Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer I to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will work in a multi-discipline team to design, analyze, test, qualify, and manufacture RF and custom components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Design experiments, perform testing, analyze data, and conduct structured problem-solving.
  • Participate in design for manufacturability reviews and perform finite element analysis studies.
  • Review industry standard and customer specification requirements and ensure designs are compliant.
  • Work concurrently with Project, RF, Process, and Quality Engineers to optimize designs for performance and manufacturability.
  • Generate reports and present at different design phases throughout product development.
  • Participate in preliminary and critical design review phases of design.
  • Produce procedural documents for mechanical analysis.
  • Listen to and understand customer requirements and take prompt, appropriate action that exceeds expectations.
  • Take personal ownership of internal and external customer issues and follow through to ensure a lasting service impression.
  • Provide existing product line support in design activities or of hardware in production.
  • Conduct engineering studies and may assign work to technical drafting staff.
Requirements
  • Familiar with 3D modeling and FEA packages, automated manufacturing and inspection tools.
  • Ability to perform thermal, structural, and/or vibration analysis.
  • Ability to design experiments, analyze the data, and perform structured problem-solving.
  • Ability to interface with customers, process engineering, and work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Must possess strong written communication skills to document technical specifications.
  • Strong critical thinking and research skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies vary depending on a wide array of factors, including skill sets, experience, and training.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,449 - $92,415.

An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment, and positions hired for alternative shifts may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
