We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Division – Energy Infrastructure team in our Syracuse, NY office.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of building HVAC systems and district energy systems, conducting field investigations to document existing conditions, and working with junior engineers to develop and review project drawings and documentation.

You will also interact directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision making process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design of building HVAC systems and district energy systems
  • Conduct field investigations to document existing conditions

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
  • Well-rounded experience in HVAC and hydronic system design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing geothermal or district energy systems
  • Experience with Revit or AutoCAD
  • New York State Professional Engineer's license is a plus

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, education, and work location.
