We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Zobility, a leading workforce management and staffing division of RGBSI. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting production and development/prototype assemblies and products within our Advanced Product Center.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Reassembly: Disassemble, reassemble, fabricate, repair, and inspect electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Setup and Operation: Set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments, including routing, dispatching, and expediting material flow.
- Quality Control: Check work correctness and perform in-process inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Material Preparation: Prepare materials and assemble and rework electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Wire and Cable Preparation: Prepare, install, crimp, and torque wire and cable using hand instruments.
- Team Collaboration: Work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals and develop multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer and math skills, experience with common hand instruments, and ability to work with production resources and teammates.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adhere to detailed work instructions and quality standards, communicate effectively, and develop multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Education and Experience: 2 or more years of applicable work experience and experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools.
