Materials Developer II, Footwear Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Developer II, Footwear to join our team at Nike. As a key member of our Materials Development team, you will be responsible for driving functional excellence and material readiness in our footwear products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement materials strategies to meet business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material readiness and on-time delivery
- Provide technical expertise to drive product excellence through materials
- Partner with vendors to establish seasonal material direction and ensure product excellence
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in materials development or a related field
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Knowledge of footwear material types and manufacturing processes
- Ability to translate lab testing results for end-use application
