Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Record Keeper to manage our daily financial operations. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k contributions, and bank accounts at month-end.
  • Oversee financial transactions and generate reports.
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Process checks and manage ledgers.
  • Collaborate with an accountant as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in accounting or business administration with a solid understanding of general accounting principles.
  • High school diploma.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software.
  • A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a business-services context.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is essential.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and comprehend financial statements.
  • Experience in the transportation or logistics sector is preferred.
