About the Position

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Mental Health Associates at ColumbiaCare Services. As a Mental Health Associate, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to adults with serious mental illness in a residential treatment facility, residential treatment homes, and supportive housing settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with a direct care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Keep accurate and detailed clinical documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health and crisis intervention.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration, which requires one of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field;
  • Minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting;
  • Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) is preferred.
  • A dedication to the well-being of each client and helping them meet their Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
