About the Role:

The FOH Team Member will be a key member of our team, working in collaboration with our Leadership Team to drive service excellence and inspire team members to work together and hold one another accountable. This position requires a warm and welcoming demeanor, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity throughout service, ensuring seamless execution of all Front of House duties and responsibilities.
  • Utilize strong communication and listening skills to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and team members.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all menu items and their proper preparation and presentation, with the ability to complete multiple Front of House stations, roles, and tasks.
  • Acknowledge and positively engage all guests at the expediting counter, managing guest expectations and delivering exceptional service.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of enlightened salesmanship, seeking opportunities to inform guests about additional offerings and promotions.
  • Have a general understanding of Department of Health (DOH) food safety standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Carry yourself with a warm and welcoming presence when interacting with guests and coworkers, deriving pleasure from providing exceptional hospitality and exhibiting excellent emotional self-awareness under pressure.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in kitchens and/or service in a restaurant
  • Problem-solving and delegation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ideally in two or more languages
  • Able to accommodate a flexible schedule
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds
