Job Overview

Simmons One Hour Heating & Air, a prominent player in the HVAC industry across the Carolinas, is in search of a skilled Commercial HVAC Specialist to enhance our team. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC systems, possess an EPA Certification, and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various environments including residential, commercial, and industrial.
  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify and troubleshoot issues, such as faulty components or leaks.
  • Replace and clean filters, belts, and other essential parts to ensure systems operate at peak performance.
  • Engage with clients to assess their HVAC requirements and suggest system enhancements or upgrades.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate HVAC system challenges, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related problems.
  • Employ diagnostic tools and technology to evaluate system performance and determine necessary repairs.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed, including reports, parts utilized, and time spent on each task.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly explaining repair options, costs, and timelines to clients.
  • Install new HVAC systems according to specifications, including ductwork, wiring, refrigerant lines, and controls.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency service requests, particularly during extreme weather conditions.
  • Advise clients on energy-efficient solutions and practices to minimize their environmental impact and reduce utility expenses.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair and installation projects, taking into account labor, parts, and other expenses.
  • Manage inventory of essential parts and supplies, ensuring timely restocking for efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure seamless coordination of tasks and projects.

Compensation
