We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing environmental-control systems in various settings.
Key Responsibilities- Install and Service Environmental-Control Systems: Tend to ventilating and heating equipment, including fans, vacuum pumps, air compressors, vents, and ducts, and lubrication oil coolers.
- Repair and Maintain Systems: Inspect and repair environmental-control systems, including compressors, condenser units, and ductwork.
- Fabricate and Install Ductwork: Cut, bend, and assemble ductwork and chassis parts using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment.
- Test and Inspect Systems: Test joints and connections for gas leaks, using gauges or soap and water solution, and observe pressure and vacuum gauges to ensure proper operation.
- Perform Electrical Work: Replace defective breaker controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring to repair installed units.
- CFC/EPA Certification: Possess a CFC/EPA Certification (Universal Certification) required under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act.
- Education and Experience: Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a sitting position for 8 or more hours per day, lift up to 50 pounds as needed, and travel to job locations by automobile and/or commercial airline as required.
The compensation for this position is $28.22/hour with Health and Welfare benefits of $8.92/hour and an extra $2.00/hour towards a 401k plan.
