Position Overview

We are actively seeking skilled HVAC Controls Technicians for various locations. The primary responsibility of the Controls Technician is to install and repair control systems while exercising sound judgment during testing and repair operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough point-to-point check-outs, commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance of building automation systems, including front-end workstations and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair panels for building automation systems, addressing issues with communications equipment, circuit boards, power supplies, and sensors.
  • Edit and optimize computer programs for building automation system points, ensuring proper conversion patterns and alarm specifications.
  • Perform assigned preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency service calls as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including commissioning records, daily reports, and status updates.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls.
  • Willingness to work locally at client sites approximately 80% of the time.
  • Familiarity with various BAS systems such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or similar.
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara is advantageous.
