KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the guidance of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), along with the Program Director I or II and/or Program Administrator, the Program Supervisor I is chiefly responsible for overseeing the parent partners and assisting the Program Director I or II in the management of the program. This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the services delivered. Additionally, the supervisor provides non-clinical oversight to parent partners and offers direct service support as necessary.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred: Master's Degree in a human services discipline.

EXPERIENCE

  • Two to four years of relevant experience.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong preference for candidates with extensive knowledge and experience within the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division (CAMHD).
  • Ideal candidates will have experience working with families in the CAMHD system and an understanding of the challenges these families face while accessing services.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to lead a multi-island program staff.
  • Occasional travel to neighboring islands and the mainland may be required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid Hawaii driver's license and a clear driving record are required, along with the willingness to travel in a personal vehicle as needed.
  • This position is subject to a criminal background check, and continued employment is contingent upon a clear record.
  • Successful completion of CPR, CPI, and/or van driving training is necessary to maintain the ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Ongoing employment is contingent upon successful completion of CPI classes or other mandated Behavioral Management certification.
  • Successful completion of First Aid training is also required.
