KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the guidance of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and the Program Director I or II, the Program Supervisor I is primarily tasked with overseeing parent partners and assisting the Program Director I or II in managing program operations. This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the services delivered. The supervisor also provides non-clinical oversight to parent partners and offers direct service support as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred: Master's Degree in a human services discipline.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of two years and up to four years of relevant experience.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong preference for candidates with extensive knowledge and experience in the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division (CAMHD).
  • Ideal candidates will have experience working with families within the CAMHD framework and an understanding of the challenges these families face while accessing services.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead a multi-island program staff are essential.
  • Occasional travel to neighboring islands and the mainland may be required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid Hawaii driver's license and a clear driving record are required, along with the willingness to travel as needed.
  • This position is subject to a criminal background check, and continued employment is contingent upon a clear record.
  • Successful completion of CPR, CPI, and/or van driving training is necessary to maintain the ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Continued employment is also contingent upon successful completion of CPI classes or other mandated Behavioral Management certification.
  • First Aid certification is required for continued employment.
