Are you a sales professional with a passion for commercial roofing and exterior services? We are seeking a Service Sales Representative to join our client's rapidly growing team in Waco, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing accounts in an assigned territory, leveraging referrals, prospecting, and networking. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring and leading a Junior Sales Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, consultants, property managers, building owners, GC's, and other targeted client groups.
  • Develop target lists and penetrate accounts by offering diverse service packages, such as leak repairs, preventative maintenance, flashing upgrades, fit-outs, coatings, and small replacements.
  • Build and maintain strong commercial client relationships, prioritizing customer service for business referrals and repeat business.
  • Drive the development of new commercial territorial accounts through cold calling, prospecting, networking, telemarketing lead follow-up, target marketings, and business development meetings.
  • Foster relationships with owners, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Participate in customer acquisition and customer target strategy.
  • Coordinate replacements with production sales.
  • Perform building measurements, verify dimensions, and conduct test cuts when necessary.
  • Complete take-offs and estimates.
  • Create detailed proposals, follow up with customers, and successfully close sales.
  • Maintain bid calendar and provide updates to the team.
  • Review Notice to Proceed letters (NTP) and contracts for scope and price accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager for project handoff after bid award.
  • Contribute to job completion financial analysis and track performance metrics.
  • Plan, oversee, and participate in Marketing outreach.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Knowledge and experience in commercial roofing, project managing, and/or estimating single-ply, asphalt, cold-applied, hot-applied, and metal projects (desired but not necessary for the right candidate)
  • Proven track record in managing other sales associates
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous construction or industrial sales experience
  • Experience in growing market share
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Tenacious drive to sell and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in sales tracking
  • Exceptional time management and follow-up skills
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, along with computer competency
