Job Overview

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Senior Key Account Sales Manager to enhance our Lightning Source (LSI) Sales division. This role is pivotal in driving our sales strategy and will involve working closely with both existing and potential clients in the book publishing sector.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage with current and prospective publishing clients to promote ICG's distribution services.
  • Establish and nurture solution-oriented relationships across various levels within publishing organizations.
  • Set and monitor sales objectives while leveraging data insights to influence large, strategic publishers.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to achieve sales and growth goals.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the book publishing or printing industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in a sales environment.
  • Experience with major publishing houses.
  • Proficient in forecasting sales activities.

Key Duties:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while expanding sales with existing accounts.
  • Assess the needs of potential publishing clients and recommend suitable Ingram products and services.
  • Work alongside ICG Product, IT, and Finance teams to develop tailored solutions that drive revenue.
  • Lead strategic discussions regarding the future needs of publishers in areas such as print on demand and global distribution.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, contracts, and presentations.
  • Formulate sales strategies for major LSI accounts, setting revenue and expense targets and tracking performance.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $97,440 and $124,155, influenced by various factors including education, experience, and market data.
