Job Overview

Great Falls Subaru is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented individual to oversee our Finance Department. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to fostering growth within the dealership.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in generating additional revenue by promoting finance and insurance products, as well as other relevant after-sale offerings to both new and pre-owned vehicle customers.

This position also involves supporting the Sales Manager in deal structuring and ensuring smooth operations within the finance sector.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates the sale of financing options and insurance products to customers.
  • Delivers comprehensive explanations of aftermarket services and extended warranties.
  • Converts cash transactions into financing options.
  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with various financial institutions, including manufacturers.
  • Accurately processes finance and lease agreements to secure necessary approvals.
  • Conducts business ethically and professionally.
  • Handles all required paperwork related to vehicle transactions, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensures timely completion of vehicle sales and lease documentation.
  • Verifies all documentation for accuracy before submission to accounting.
  • Maintains an up-to-date state insurance license and completes necessary continuing education.
  • Educates customers on dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Continuously seeks new lending partners to offer competitive financing rates.
  • Manages alternative finance programs to ensure a variety of options are available.
  • Maintains insurance documentation and files.
  • Implements a strategy to ensure all sales are referred to the F&I department.
  • Provides the sales team with current information on finance and lease options.
  • Trains sales personnel on the advantages of financing and insurance programs.
  • Collaborates with sales managers to optimize profitability on each sale.
  • Aligns finance forecasts with sales projections to achieve targeted penetration and income levels.
  • Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees.
  • Processes credit applications.
  • Prepares reports on finance penetration metrics.
  • Works closely with management to set and achieve departmental goals.
  • Participates in management meetings.
  • Handles all rate inquiries.
  • Develops and maintains guidelines for customer interactions to maximize satisfaction.
  • Processes commission sheets for sales staff for payroll purposes.
  • Supervises and trains designated backups to ensure continuity in the F&I manager's absence.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of necessary contracts and paperwork for vehicle transactions.
  • Upholds a professional appearance and work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience with demonstrated success.
  • 2 or more years of finance and insurance experience with a solid background.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Strong work ethic and motivation.
  • Demonstrated integrity and honesty.
