Position Overview:
1st Liberty FCU is in search of a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Senior Management Team as the Senior Vice President of Lending Operations. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing our lending services and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior Vice President of Lending Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the daily functions of all lending operations, which encompass Consumer, Real Estate, Participation, and Indirect lending, along with overseeing collections.
  • Formulating, proposing, and executing comprehensive lending and collection policies, procedures, and strategic objectives for the credit union.
  • Leading and supervising the Lending and collections teams, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to meet their responsibilities.
  • Collaborating with regulatory bodies and financial institutions to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
  • Assisting in the development of Budget and Forecasting Models, while also providing support for Financial Preparation.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, complemented by 5-10 years of progressive management experience within a financial institution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate policies and objectives across the organization and positively represent the credit union.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate operational performance, set financial goals, assess new products, and prepare reports for the executive leadership.
  • A comprehensive understanding of credit union management principles, basic computer proficiency, and a commitment to member and staff welfare.
  • The ability to travel within the credit union's service area to assess operational responsibilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines and objectives.
  • Physical capability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
