Job Details:We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Analyst for a permanent position in our thriving manufacturing company. This is a hybrid role that combines both in-office and remote work, offering the flexibility you need to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our financial team, responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded in a timely manner.
2. Preparing and analyzing financial reports to monitor the company's performance and make recommendations for improvement.
3. Utilizing SAP and Excel to manage and analyze financial data and generate reports.
4. Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger by verifying all entries and reconciling any discrepancies.
5. Conducting detailed financial analysis to aid in decision-making and strategy development.
6. Collaborating with other members of the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.
7. Assisting in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
8. Providing support to internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this critical role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in SAP and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
4. Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
5. Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
6. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
8. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
