Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). This role will provide support for the monthly financial activities of the Office of General Assembly (OGA) and the Presbyterian Historical Society (PHS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze per capita apportionment billing of each presbytery, monitor receipts, and prepare allowance for uncollectible account entries.
  • Assist in developing the annual operating budget of the OGA and PHS, monitor monthly activity, and investigate budget variances.
  • Support the biennial General Assembly special event budget, ensuring proper account coding and transaction oversight.
  • Review and authorize journal entries, prepare and import vouchers, and interpret and train OGA staff on accounting processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
