Position Overview: We are currently in search of a Lead Program Management Specialist to assist our clients in Patuxent River, MD. This role will primarily focus on supporting the activities of PMA-280's In-service Team. The Lead Program Management Specialist will be responsible for managing the Tomahawk All Up Round (AUR) Logistics Manager, participating in meetings, and responding to data requests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with missile depot and fleet personnel
  • Coordinating the shipment of missiles
  • Engaging in various meetings such as Fleet Asset IPT, MRI working groups, Ordnance Enterprise Mapping working group, and AUR Inventory & Maintenance meetings
  • Generating reports including the Tomahawk Inventory Report, Ammunition Transaction Report, and updating reports within the Classified Tomahawk Information System
  • Overseeing high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of programs while independently performing all functional duties. This role may also involve supervising less experienced staff and/or managing the efforts of all personnel assigned to specific tasks.

Functional Responsibilities: Employs analytical techniques to evaluate program/project objectives. Assesses requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Conducts management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, organizes, and interprets data related to aircraft, weapon, and project acquisition and product programs. Monitors program/project status and timelines. Implements government-mandated processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.

Education Requirements: A Master's or advanced degree is required. A Bachelor's degree may be substituted with an additional four (4) years of relevant experience.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required.

Security Clearance: Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
