Program Management Specialist

Position Overview
You will be responsible for developing and coordinating all necessary program acquisition documentation and presentations, ensuring that all program requirements and milestones are effectively communicated and coordinated with program leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze needs and requirements to establish specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and planning.
- Direct the creation of comprehensive program plans to meet technical, cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Act as a liaison and representative in negotiations with other commands, offices of the Navy, DOD, and other governmental and private organizations regarding program matters.

Team Management
- Evaluate the performance of team members and provide feedback to Group Leaders and supervisors regarding the performance of Integrated Product Team (IPT) members.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and suitable for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
- New employees will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band (DA-05) or grade level (GS-12/13) in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Examples of Specialized Experience Include:
1) Utilizing a broad range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices to manage weapon systems acquisition.
2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher-level procurement policies.
3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives, and metrics while resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources.
4) Identifying opportunities for process improvements and best practices through customer feedback and audits.
5) Advising management on complex issues, conducting special studies, and proposing alternatives.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled through this announcement. This position may offer part-time, full-time, or ad-hoc telework at management's discretion.
