Role Overview:

This Supervising Case Manager Coordinator position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of case management services for participants in our STOP program. Reporting to the Program Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the coordination of placement assessments, discharge planning, and extension requests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and oversight of STOP Case Managers to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Coordinate placement assessments, discharge planning, and extension requests to meet participant needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field and one year of experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy services to an offender population, supervisory experience with case managers or substance abuse counselors preferred.
  • Certification as an AOD Counselor with a certification recognized by Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
  • Ability to recognize the importance of family, social networks, and community systems in the treatment and recovery process.

Annual Salary: $70,000 - $90,000, depending on location and experience.
