Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Campbell, California. This is a unique opportunity to work with complex cases and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who can provide diagnosis and treatment for individuals with communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairments, and neurological defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local requirements and be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and administering diagnostic tests, providing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. They will also be expected to oversee the work of entry-level staff, support community programs, and develop inservice programs for staff development.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Evaluates and administers diagnostic tests to adults and children for various communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairments, and neurological defects.
  • Provides individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each patient.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care.
  • Oversees the work of entry-level staff and provides training and guidance as needed.
  • Serves as a consultant on interdisciplinary teams and participates in developing inservice programs for staff development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Minimum two (2) years of previous experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
  • National Provider Identifier.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
