Key Responsibilities- Inspect and verify inbound materials to ensure they meet quality and legal standards
- Document and submit documentation to necessary departments
- Assist in creating detailed RMA documentation
- Enter information into spreadsheets and maintain records of products and product samples shipped
- Perform audits and inspections to maintain Quality standards in Production
- Implement performance and quality improvement programs
- Assist in training production staff on quality measures
- Prepare letters and other documents as needed
- Answer and respond to telephone calls and e-mails
- High School Diploma required
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field may be required
- Experience and general knowledge of Microsoft Office products including spreadsheets
- Working knowledge of hand tools, calipers, and micrometers is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and/or in writing as to work requirements, work in progress, and discrepancy issues
This is a 2nd shift regular hours position, working 4, 10-hour days Tuesday through Friday, 1pm to 11:30pm. Overtime may be required on Mondays, 1pm to 11:30pm, whenever production is on overtime. A mandatory 30-day first shift training/onboarding schedule is required, working 7a-3:30pm, followed by a move to 2nd shift.
