Our campus will offer a range of services, including a 14-bay emergency department, 10-bay observation unit, 30 acute inpatient beds, 4 operating rooms, and Level 1 cardiac capability.

About the Job

The Medical Technologist performs laboratory testing, has knowledge of the clinical significance of results, monitors and understands operation of instrumentation, and reports results accurately and rapidly.

Responsibilities
  • Performs all clinical testing in assigned department
  • Records and reports test results accurately and promptly
  • Performs and interprets quality control testing following established guidelines
  • Maintains a high level of quality assurance
  • Practices established safety procedures, including Universal Precautions and proper use of safety equipment
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate or Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related field
  • Certification from American Society of Clinical Pathologists, equivalent; eligible for certification
  • Effective Communication Skills
