The Pace University Civic Engagement Program is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Peer Mentor for Dyson CE courses. As a Peer Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their civic engagement endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend class sessions and collaborate with the CE course professor to review the CE component of the course.
- Assist students in finalizing community partnerships for the course.
- Track student community partner placement and completion of hours.
- Communicate regularly with faculty members to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Civic Engagement Program.
Requirements:
- Must be a Pace University NYC undergraduate student.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to provide a friendly and approachable contact point for students.
- A passion for civic engagement and experience in a Civic Engagement course at Pace is highly desirable.
