Job Opportunity: Peer Mentor for Dyson CE Courses

Pace University is seeking a highly motivated and organized Peer Mentor to support the Civic Engagement Program for Dyson CE courses. As a Peer Mentor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the student experience and fostering a sense of community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend class sessions and collaborate with the CE course professor to review the CE component of the course.
  • Assist students in finalizing community partnerships for the course.
  • Track student community partner placement and completion of hours.
  • Communicate regularly with the faculty member.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Pace University NYC undergraduate student.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to provide a friendly contact point for students.
  • Passion for civic engagement and experience taking a Civic Engagement course at Pace.
