Tockwotton on the Waterfront is seeking a skilled Medication Aide to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Distribute physician-prescribed medications to residents under the supervision of a professional nurse (RN) and within the boundaries of the Nurse Practice Act of the state of Rhode Island.
  • Provide medical and physical care to residents to meet their daily needs and enable them to function at their highest possible level.
  • Perform medication aide tasks in accordance with current standards, guidelines, and regulations in a safe and effective manner.
Requirements:
  • Current medication technician license
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • One year nursing experience
  • Ability to meet minimum physical requirements as required by facility policies
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Enjoy working with the senior community
