Job Title: Sustainability Manager

Compass Group USA is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead our efforts in reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices in the food and hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct regular sustainability compliance evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Measure and report on the impact of sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sustainability, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence without authority and manage up and across the organization.
Preferred Skills:
  • Project management or large-scale strategy deployment.
  • Culinary and/or food service experience.
  • Familiarity with core business data, including SAP and P&L statements.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI.
