The Global Vendor Management (GVM) Program collaborates with senior leadership from a select group of global vendors to enhance mutual business growth and ensure relationship success across Amazon's global operations.

We are a strategic business development team dedicated to customer satisfaction, seeking an individual with exceptional business acumen to cultivate collaborative partnerships with vendor executives and Amazon teams worldwide, with a focus on Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
As a Global Sustainability Program Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute Sustainability strategies for vendors on a global scale.
  • Engage with senior leadership at major vendors to spearhead Sustainable initiatives, including sustainable shopping and product development.
  • Lead educational efforts regarding Amazon's Sustainability initiatives directed at vendors.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with internal program teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Amazon's International Expansions and Global Vendor Management teams.
  • Create operational metrics, monitor delivery timelines, and communicate program status to stakeholders.
  • Work independently in a dynamic environment, identifying business challenges, automation constraints, and factors influencing leadership decisions.
  • Engage cross-functionally to implement test and learn strategies that drive engagement and support key business initiatives in a scalable manner.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in program or project management.
- Proven experience in delivering projects end-to-end and reporting results to senior leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLookUps) and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven track record in leading large, cross-functional projects.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in delivering projects and communicating results to senior leadership.
- 3+ years of experience in driving process improvements.
- Experience in stakeholder management, engaging with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Background in building processes, project management, and scheduling.
- Experience or strong interest in Sustainability initiatives.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by factors such as market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
