Role Summary: The Customer Order Management Specialist plays a vital role in liaising with distributors, manufacturers, and clients. This position collaborates closely with customer success managers to uphold exceptional customer satisfaction standards. The primary responsibility involves engaging with customers before and after product delivery to ensure order accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, while also gauging overall customer satisfaction.

Key Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Salesforce or similar CRM systems is essential.

Education and Experience: Previous experience in customer service is preferred.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills via phone and email to assist customers and collaborate with team members.
  • Highly organized with a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and a collaborative team player.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Address customer inquiries and issues through email and phone, coordinating with account managers and customer success managers for effective resolution.
  • Engage with distributors and manufacturers to obtain product shipment details and order status updates.
  • Accurately document software and licensing information.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Sterling's order management team to ensure timely product shipment and delivery in accordance with customer schedules.
  • Assist customers in resolving delivery issues and managing returns.
