Job Title: Bartender

Landscapes Golf Management and Dakota Dunes Country Club are seeking a skilled Bartender to join their team for the upcoming golf season. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to the service needs of club patrons in the bar area, including food and beverage service.
  • Maintain the stock and cleanliness of the bar area, including arranging bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar patrons, utilizing drink measures and proper pours.
  • Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
  • Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
  • Collect guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable).
  • Take food orders, record food orders into the register system, and deliver orders to bar patrons.
  • Communicate low stock items to the food and beverage manager as appropriate.
  • Follow closing and duty lists as appropriate.
  • Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to company management.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in food service/bartending preferred.
  • Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco training and/or certificate.
Physical Requirements:
  • Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person.
  • Standing and walking: 25-100%.
  • Climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling: 24-50%.
  • Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, and writing: 0-24%.
  • Lift in excess of 25 pounds: 0-24%.
