The Position

The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of all IT hardware and software, as well as communicating the status of the IT infrastructure to the appropriate personnel. The Onsite IT position supports staff by ensuring training on IT matters and ensuring that the network is usable by identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the phone system, local area networks, and internet to ensure operational readiness at all times.
  • Analyze system and application efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and report to superiors.
  • Perform installation, de-installation, and daily performance of truck-mounted camera systems.
  • Implement, maintain, and administer all IT-related equipment, anti-virus software, servers, firewalls, and switches.
  • Create and maintain accounts, including email, web portals, and external vendors.
  • Monitor digital systems to ensure the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and system processes.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure that critical systems are working properly and correct deficiencies found.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required.
  • Preferred fields of study include IT Administration, Cyber Security, or Network Operation.
  • 5-6+ years of experience in an Information Technology role or field required.
