We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Faribault Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reliability and Maintenance
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
    • Oversee the maintenance of all facilities and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of maintenance personnel.
  • Budgeting and Planning
    • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of the business.
    • Plan and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure that they are aligned with business objectives.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or maintenance management.
    • At least 10 years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices.
    • Ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with possible exposure to temperature changes, high noise levels, and other hazards. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
