Waterpark Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waterpark Safety Specialist to join our team at Bridges Bay Resort. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests and enforcing all State and company pool rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Pool Areas: Provide assistance and protection to participants in recreational areas.
- Provide Excellent Guest Service: Offer prompt and courteous service to each guest.
- Understand Waterpark Equipment: Familiarize yourself with all Waterpark equipment and systems.
- Enforce Waterpark Rules: Understand and enforce all Waterpark rules and regulations.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Training: Stay current on all training requirements and certifications.
- Prevent Accidents: Work to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for all guests.
- Coordinate Emergency Procedures: Coordinate emergency procedures and provide first aid in an emergency situation.
- Document Incidents: Document all incidents that occur while on duty.
- Report Hazards: Report any hazards to your supervisor immediately.
- Open and Close the Waterpark: Open and close the Waterpark at posted times.
- Clean the Pool Deck: Clean up pool deck areas after closing.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Work Environment: Work tasks are performed both indoors and outdoors, with varying temperatures. You must wear a uniform while on duty.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for long periods of time, walk, and stand. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Manual Dexterity: Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and remain calm in stressful situations with all guests, including children.
- Emergency Response: Ability to take control of emergency situations.
- Certifications: Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard.
